Postgraduate qualified (at least M.Sc., Ph.D. preferred) mathematicians or statisticians required to work as Quantitative Analysts for our dynamic sports modelling consultancy. We expect self-motivated individuals with experience in developing and implementing mathematical or statistical models. Your CV should speak for itself.

As part of the Quantitative Team the roles will involve researching and applying innovative new methods to develop and implement predictive statistical models for sporting events, in order to provide a basis for our clients to make profitable betting decisions.
We have positions at this level in our established football modelling team, and several others in our newly formed teams for modelling basketball, American football, baseball, ice hockey and tennis. These positions offer exciting opportunities to be involved in model development from the ground up.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Post graduate qualification (at least M.Sc., Ph.D. preferred) in mathematics, statistics or another subject with considerable mathematical content
- Experience in developing and implementing mathematical or statistical models
- Knowledge and experience of computer programming (preferably in C++, C, R or Python)
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines with a versatile approach to problem solving
- The ability to plan, analyse and evaluate work as required
- An interest in and knowledge of football, basketball, American Football, baseball, ice hockey or tennis
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of using relational databases (preferably MySQL)
- A good record of strong team working skills
